THE FALCHETTO'S CAVE

The Falchetto’s cave is located on the side of the Maramozza Tip. It’s visible from the water surface and bounded from the outside by a massive pillar, made of natural rock, that divides the entrance in two parts reaching as far as 13 m. on the sandy bottom. It’s a very easy dive, but rich of many encounters: the face is strewn with gorgonia bearing different chromatic varieties, numerous cerianthus and pillow madrepores.
